A Beginners Guide to Surfing The Web

In Te Ngahere we have been learning about Smart Surfing on the internet. We had to make a copy of the Smart Surfing slide and then highlight the keywords. On the next slide we had to write what we were going to search.  An example of a keyword search is instead of typing “what do spiders eat” you should type “spider diet”.  The reason for that is because Google has a thing called a spider.  Whenever you type an irrelevant words like what and how the spider will shoot a web at all the websites with the irrelevant word you searched .  Then if type a search with no keywords in it you end up with a lot more answers that are irrelevant to the search you want.  What I found easy was I had to find a website using the keyword searches.  The hardest part was finding the link with the best information.  Do you use keyword searches to make it easier on Google?
