All About Attributing Images

Hi Everybody lately in Te Ngahere we have been learning about attributing images.  Some images on Google are not licensed so if you use them you could be charged a lot of money for copywriting there images.  Something I learned  in this task is how you attribute images on Google.  This is how you do it.  First you search up what you want and then go onto images.  Next you click on tools.  Then you click on usage rights and then creative commons licences.  All the pictures are licensed after you click on the  creative commons licence.  I could use this learning in the future to help me with finding images that licenced are for my work.

What I found hard about this challenge was finding the license for each of the images.  I had to search each page very hard before I found the licence.  The easy thing about this challenge was searching the images because there are many things you can search about.

Did you know how to attribute images?

The Wackiest Wednesday In The World

Hi everybody, on Wednesday the 17th of November we had a Wacky Wednesday.  Our challenge was to dress up in the wackiest possible way. I instantly decided I wanted to dress up as a lady.  I had the perfect plan.  I would borrow one of Mum’s dresses her floppy sun hat and a pair of sunglasses.  When the day came that is exactly what I did.  I like this day because everybody is so creative and imaginative and nobody can tease them.  The person that I think is best dressed is Hudson.  He is wearing a dress that has Rapunzel on it except he replaced the  Rapunzel with Rehudzel.  He looks hilarious.

Have you ever had a wacky Wednesday?

PAL Fun Day Extravaganza

Hi, It is term 4 the last term and the best one for learning.  On the last day of school last term we had a PAL fun day.  A PAL day is a day that is lead by students.  PAL stands for Physical Activity Leader.  Certain students sign up to do activities.  After that they lead groups in their activity, telling them how to do it and helping them get through them.  What I enjoyed most about PAL day is that we had a range of different activities to do.  All of them which I had a lot of fun in.  My favorite activity was one where you have an inflatable dart board and you throw a beanbag at it to get points.  A challenge I experienced was when I had to throw a ball in a bucket from a big distance.  I overcame this challenge by keeping on trying until I could get it in every time.  If we did it again I would want to have longer periods for the activities.

Have you ever had a big fun school event at your school?
